| The Engineering and Building Departments are staffed by the Director of Public Works/Village Engineer and a Building Inspector. The two departments work together to monitor and enforce building and zoning regulations on existing property and to perform compliance reviews and inspections on new construction. The Director of Public Works oversees the maintenance, repair, reconstruction or replacement of all existing infrastructure serving the general populace. He is responsible for the development and construction of new infrastructure in developing areas of the village. The Director of Public Works/Village Engineer oversees daily activities in the Street and Utility Department. | |
